The Rainy River District Victim Services Program (RRDSVP) partners with Emergency Services by providing immediate emotional and practical support to victims of crime and other tragic circumstances, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

How the Program Works
We train volunteers to respond immediately to Police and other Emergency Service Providers' requests for short-term emotional and practical support for victims.
Volunteers provide one on one assistance until the victim's own support network or long-term support arrives to ensure that the victim is in a safe place and emotionally stable.
Volunteers can also provide clients/victims with referrals and contact information for a variety of services within our district.
Our clients can be referred to the program by service professionals in the community or by self-referral when visiting our office.
